To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Tina’s Day Care, Inc. Tina has cared for my children for the last 11 years beginning in January, 2001. We only left Tina this year when the youngest of our four children was old enough to start pre-school. We loved our experience with Tina’s Day Care and found it to be a wonderful childcare option.
After 11 years with Tina, I noticed three overriding attributes that I felt were positive factors in my childcare experience. First, I found Tina to be a wealth of knowledge about and experience with children. As a new parent, this was very comforting to me as she often knew what constituted typical behavior patterns at any age. And even better, she had a great deal of experience in dealing with those less than desirable behaviors that all children struggle with at some point in time.
The second thing I learned about Tina was that she was a partner in helping me raise my kids. She worked with me to establish the eating and sleeping habits that I desired and to encourage potty training and giving up naps when I was ready. When she knew that I had a busy evening ahead, she made sure that the child in her care had an extra snack before s/he left or that s/he had a clean diaper on, etc. Or if she knew that we were struggling with bedtime at home, she limited naptime at her house so that bedtime was easier for us. She was a partner in every sense of the word, and she was concerned about the welfare and happiness of my children while in her care and outside of it.
Finally, I found Tina to be an honest and trustworthy person. Obviously, this is something you only learn over time and after having day-to-day interactions with each other, but I think it’s the most important characteristic of a day care provider. We trusted her judgment in bringing in help when she was out of town, and in the early years when Tina’s Day Care was much smaller, we trusted her to pick our daughter up from pre-school and bring her back to the day care until I got off work. In addition, we found her to be an honest business woman and have always felt that we were treated fairly from the financial perspective.
Clearly, our family could not have been happier with our experience at Tina’s Day Care. It was a wonderful 11 years for us, and I’m pleased to recommend her as a day care provider.
Sincerely,
Carmen Teed

Re: Tina Lempereur’s Daycare
To Whom It May Concern:
My daughter attended Tina’s daycare from when she first arrived here from China at ten months of age until she “graduated” to pre-school at St. Richard’s School. Tina was very accommodating of the special needs that Rachel Claire had as a newly adopted child. She was loving and nurturing and carefully helped both of us become comfortable with being separated from each other as we had just become a family.
Tina is kind and consistent with all of the children in her care. She communicates effectively to the parents as well. She provides nutritious and yummy food for the kids. She offers a good mix of activities for the children including playing outside when it is possible. Tina also helps the kids learn about manners and how to play well together.
I knew we were in the right place because every day Rachel Claire was excited to go to Tina’s but at the end of the day she was also glad to see me when I arrived. I was always completely comfortable when my daughter was in Tina’s care. I knew she was experienced and wise about caring for children. I would definitely use Tina again in the future if there were any other children in our family.
Sincerely,
Jill Henry
